About the role
- Digital Assets Operations Manager overseeing digital asset custody processes at Tangany in München. Engaging with clients and managing blockchain transactions and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Cross-functional execution and oversight of processes related to the custody of digital assets: transaction management, anti-money laundering (AML) & Know-Your-Customer (KYC) checks, data analysis, and reporting.
- Management of blockchain transactions for our institutional clients across custody technologies such as hot wallets and cold wallets.
- Analysis and classification of new blockchain protocols, protocol upgrades, staking mechanisms, and other technology developments.
- Operational design and prototyping of new services, e.g., for staking or DeFi applications.
- Continuous improvement and automation of internal processes to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
- Building personal, trusted client relationships as a direct and committed point of contact for partners such as banks and financial institutions.
Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Law, or a related field.
- At least one year of professional experience (including internships) in operational roles with client interaction.
- Basic interest in blockchain technology and digital assets.
- Desirable: experience (including personal use) with cold wallets.
- High degree of reliability and accuracy when working with numbers and data, even under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong communication abilities in German and English.
- Enjoy working in an international, highly motivated team.
