Responsibilities
- Ensure that developers and product teams have an effective and secure platform to deliver services to production.
- Design and implement automated strategies to deploy, maintain, and monitor complex software systems.
- Collaborate across agile teams to promote DevOps best practices and infrastructure-as-code.
- Support development environments with a focus on performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Drive consistency through standardised tooling.
- Drive outcomes aligned with MYOB’s evolving business priorities and resource needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Developer or DevOps Engineer in team environments, with strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies including Agile, Lean, Kanban, CI/CD, and a passion for continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in AWS (or other public cloud platforms), cloud infrastructure management, and deploying systems at scale.
- Skilled in Linux, containerisation (Docker), infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation), and scripting languages like Python, Go, or Bash.
- Familiarity with cloud platform services such as virtualisation, databases, load balancing, DNS, file storage, and observability tools.
