About the role

• DevOps Engineer continuously enhancing cloud platforms for education management software. Focusing on scalability and performance while ensuring high availability for educational institutions.

Responsibilities

• You continuously develop our cloud platform for our campus management software academyFIVE.
• You systematically expand our infrastructure components and adapt them to new requirements.
• You optimize our platform with a focus on scalability and performance.
• You improve and automate our build and deployment processes to ensure efficient workflows.
• You maintain and continuously develop internal applications — with an eye on stability and long-term viability.
• Together with the team, you ensure a highly available, high-performance platform that paves the way for universities to enter the digital future.

Requirements

• Experience with cloud architectures (ideally with AWS CDK)
• Proficiency in programming with object-oriented languages, preferably PHP and TypeScript
• Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Linux administration (Ubuntu/Debian) is a plus
• Enthusiasm for experimenting with new technologies and continuous learning
• Ability to think beyond immediate tasks and contribute new ideas
• Team player with a sense of humor, quality awareness, and a solution-oriented working style
• Good written and spoken German and English skills.
