About the role

• DevOps Engineer working at White Circle, focusing on infrastructure for AI systems. Involves managing production environments, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain production infrastructure in AWS and on-prem environments.
• Manage and improve Kubernetes clusters for deployments, scaling, reliability, and daily operations.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for safer, faster, and more reliable releases.
• Maintain container infrastructure, including Docker image management, runtime security, and lifecycle.
• Enhance system reliability, performance, and observability through monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting.
• Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform to ensure consistent and adaptable environments.
• Oversee networking across the stack, including routing, firewalls, load balancing, and cluster communication.
• Automate tasks and improve workflows with Python scripts and internal tools.
• Collaborate with engineering and ML teams to support product infrastructure, internal platforms, and compute-intensive workloads.

Requirements

• Have hands-on experience with AWS services (S3, EKS, IAM, and ECR).
• Сomfortable working not only in cloud environments, but also with real production on-prem infrastructure.
• Have strong Unix/Linux fundamentals and can confidently troubleshoot, tune, and operate systems in production.
• Worked with Docker in real environments and understand how to build secure, efficient container setups.
• Have practical experience with Kubernetes (EKS, k0s, or similar environments).
• Built or maintained real CI/CD pipelines and understand how to make deployments reliable.
• Understand networking well, including TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, and load balancing.
• Have solid Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code experience.
• Worked with Datadog for monitoring and observability.
• Use Python comfortably for automation and internal tools.
• You communicate clearly and work well with others. Fluent English.
