Data Manager enhancing data quality and traceability in clinical research at Excelya. Collaborating with data teams to drive data management improvements in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
Analyze and document current data flows across R&D and Translational Medicine departments
Identify bottlenecks and propose solutions in existing data management processes
Design and implement tools and processes to enhance data quality and traceability
Perform data analyses to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal standards
Collaborate with data managers, IT, reference data teams, and business stakeholders to align efforts
Support the development of user documentation and quality control protocols
Develop and maintain SQL and Python scripts for data validation and quality monitoring
Work closely with the Data Quality Lead to ensure alignment of all data quality initiatives
Contribute to weekly progress updates and monthly activity reports
Participate in the preparation of test and validation documents related to data workflows
Requirements
Recent graduate or up to 3 years of experience in data management or data quality. Previous exposure to life sciences, healthcare, or pharmaceutical environments is a plus. Ability to work in cross-functional teams in a regulated setting.
Proficiency with Excel and Power BI.
Working knowledge of SQL (intermediate level).
Basic understanding of Python for data scripting.
Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to document workflows clearly.
Master’s Degree in Data Science, Bioinformatics, Health Informatics, or a related field
Fluent in French and English (written and spoken).
