Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Data Science and Analytics Manager
- Play a pivotal part in championing a data-driven approach in decision-making through data analytics solutions
- Driving the analysis and business planning to deliver value to stakeholders
- Design, optimize, and maintain intuitive performance dashboards
- Enhance runrate projection models to improve forecast accuracy
- Develop data-driven models to forecast sales event performance
- Build and maintain customer segmentation and market basket analyses
- Conduct rigorous statistical analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and growth opportunities
- Evaluate existing aggregation tables for performance bottlenecks
- Automate recurring workflows to reduce manual effort
- Document data models, business logic, and analytical methodologies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business) or related discipline. Master's degree is a plus!
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in analytics, data science, or business intelligence roles (fresh graduates with substantial internship experience in analytics will be considered)!
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and statistics
- Self-starter who proactively identifies optimization opportunities and continuously improves solutions
- Stays current with analytics best practices and emerging tools, applying new learnings to enhance work quality
- Collaborative team player who takes ownership and drives projects to completion
- Familiarity with modern data lakehouse platforms (Databricks experience a plus)
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Metabase preferred)
- Experience in retail or fashion industry preferred but not required
