Responsibilities
Define and champion brand voice, messaging, and storytelling across all client accounts.
Guide and inspire copywriters, ensuring concepts and executions are fresh, persuasive, and strategically aligned.
Balance oversight with execution — leading the development of messaging platforms and scripts while writing and refining copy yourself when necessary.
Lead the development of big ideas, campaign narratives, and messaging frameworks.
Write and edit across a range of deliverables: TV, digital, social, experiential, radio, print, OOH, and branded content.
Present and sell ideas with confidence, articulating the creative and strategic rationale behind copy choices.
Serve as a trusted partner to senior clients, building alignment on brand voice and messaging direction.
Partner with art directors and designers to ensure copy and visuals work seamlessly together.
Work with strategy to turn insights into compelling narratives and campaign platforms.
Mentor and grow copywriters, editors, and junior creative talent, elevating their craft and confidence.
Requirements
10+ years of agency experience
Proven track record in copywriting, brand storytelling, and conceptual development
At least 3+ years in a Creative Director, Associate Creative Director, or senior copy leadership role
Portfolio showcasing award-winning, strategically driven copy across integrated campaigns
Exceptional writing skills
Strong storytelling and concepting ability across multiple formats and platforms
Excellent presentation skills
Proven experience building, mentoring, and leading creative teams.
