About the role
- Compensation Analyst assisting in job classification, analysis, and pricing for St. Luke's University Health Network. Supporting compensation programs and enhancing data integrity within the healthcare sector.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates new and existing job requests, documenting responsibilities and requirements in job descriptions
- Conducts market analysis of jobs to determine competitive positioning within the internal pay structure
- Contributes organizational data to, and analyzes results of, compensation surveys
- Reviews various compensation requests and provides appropriate salary recommendations
- Reviews and approves incoming compensation changes submitted through Workday, which include ERC support
- Reviews and audits compensation related data in an effort to enhance data integrity
- Assists on various team initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance or other related field required and/or equivalent related work experience
- PHR/SPHR Certification preferred
- Three years of experience in Human Resources required
- Previous experience in a compensation role preferred
- Previous experience in healthcare preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with a focus in excel
- Must demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive, confidential situations and an ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Requires effective organization and time management skills, the ability to multi-task, work independently, and also a contributing team member
