Responsibilities
Drive the growth and development of the Food Segment, ensuring delivery of sales goals and new business generation in collaboration with Sales and Business Development teams.
Expand the product portfolio and product positioning in line with market and consumer needs.
Identify new opportunities, develop project pipelines, and lead projects through an effective and structured process.
Liaison with R & T and application team for development of new products and solutions.
Gather, analyze, and interpret market data to develop and maintain segment strategy.
Interact with external stakeholders including customers, industry specialists, trade associations to understand market dynamics.
Monitor competition and keep a vigilant eye on competitors’ activities while identifying current and future sources of competitive advantage.
Develop GTM plan for new projects and lead to launch new products while preparing the necessary documents, costing & product specification, and scorecard approval of the product.
Actively participate in product short-term and long-term pricing strategy.
Strategic planning and forecasting of products in food segment.
Requirements
Bachelor degree in food science & technology and MBA/MS Business studies
Proven expertise in business operations, designing marketing plans, product development, and successful product launches.
English fluency, both written and spoken
Proficiency in data analysis and research & development methodologies.
In-depth knowledge of starch and sweetener modification and manufacturing processes.
Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
Customer-centric mindset with a passion for innovation and business model transformation.
