About the role
- Backend Developer designing and implementing features for My Sartorius customer portal. Collaborating with front-end developers and writing Java code in a hybrid environment.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for feature development, which means you will be responsible for designing and implementing valuable features for the My Sartorius customer portal
- In close cooperation with front-end developers, ensure a smooth integration
- Write efficient, reusable and reliable Java code for My Sartorius customer portal
Requirements
- Proven professional experience from a comparable role, complemented by in-depth Java programming experience and solid experience with the Spring Boot framework
- Experience in agile software development and agile methods
- Practical experience with Docker and Microsoft Azure Cloud
- Experience in the development of REST APIs as well as with micro-services and distributed systems
- Experience with continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices and knowledge of Infrastructure as Code ( IaC ) using Terraform is desirable
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex content in an understandable way
- Fluency in English
