Mobileye field engineer connecting technology with automotive clients and providing technical support for semi-autonomous driving systems. Requires relocation to Los Angeles after training in Jerusalem.
Responsibilities
Ability to understand the entire Mobileye system and solve customer problems
Installing various Mobileye systems on evaluation and development vehicles
Performing and supervising test drives on an open road and test tracks
Testing performance and quality of the vision system and other sensor
Supporting system integration efforts with deep "bits and bytes" understanding of the entire system
Providing expert support and training for the engineering teams on site
The position includes office work, support at vehicle production lines and integration facilities
Tasks also include long test drives and travel to additional countries
Drive the AV in both automated and manual mode on open roads and test tracks
Inspecting and maintaining any malfunctions in the test vehicle
Gather information and upload it to the database
Support new systems installation in the vehicle
Testing and validating end-to-end AV functionality
Close collaboration with the AV development, validation and algorithm teams
Providing expert AV test reports
Representing the company in customer demonstrations
Requirements
Fluent in English
Advanced driving courses (for test vehicles)
B.Sc. in Electrical engineering /exact science or similar field
Valid driving license
Linux experience
3+ years of experience in customer facing roles (support / field engineer or similar)
Experience in technical hands on roles
Background in hardware or software testing - an advantage.
