About the role

• Senior Manager position in tax consulting and auditing firm focusing on HGB and IFRS compliance. Involves managing client relations and providing expert consultation services.

Responsibilities

• Audit of annual financial statements of industrial, trading and service companies under HGB and IFRS, applying a risk-oriented audit approach
• Conducting special audits (internal control systems, compliance management)
• Audit-related advisory services
• Preparation of annual financial statements and tax returns
• Company valuations
• Ongoing tax advice to clients of all legal forms and preparation of technical opinions
• Participation in advisory projects (including due diligence, intragroup restructurings, company valuations/value indications)

Requirements

• Successfully passed the Wirtschaftsprüfer exam or the combined Wirtschaftsprüfer and Steuerberater exams
• Several years of professional experience in tax advisory and in auditing annual and consolidated financial statements under HGB, ideally complemented by knowledge of IFRS
• Knowledge of DATEV (including AP Comfort) and experience in data analysis would be an advantage
