Associate Director managing financial intermediary relationships for SS&C with expertise in retail alternatives. Leading a team and supporting business initiatives with a strong focus on service excellence.
Responsibilities
Lead a team focused on supporting Financial Intermediaries, including wire houses, TPAs, and custodians
Support DTCC/AIP development and testing associates
Actively supports daily operations by not just overseeing tasks but also learning the skills necessary to complete tasks as needed since they will serve as a backup to direct reports
Collaborates with various Transfer Agency teams and leaders to ensure client needs are met
Attends and participates in industry calls
Supports new business sales initiatives
Supports ongoing business projects, including system enhancements and client/intermediary specific requests
Supports ongoing daily support items, including managing and resolving technical issues or intermediary inquiries
Serves as a liaison between clients and intermediaries
Communicates directly with stakeholders with respect to client events, issues, and/or systems enhancements
Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or related experience
5 years of experience in financial services industry
Strong understanding of Transfer Agency functions
Transfer Agency management experience preferred
Transfer Agency system and/or project management experience preferred
Ability to work independently, prioritize, and multitask
Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing
Willingness to learn and grow both personally and within the organization
