About the role
- Architect responsible for technical maintenance and modernization of residential buildings in Berlin. Overseeing planning and coordination of energetic renovations with collaboration across teams.
Responsibilities
- Technical maintenance and ongoing development of an assigned portfolio of buildings
- Planning, management and supervision of renovation and modernization projects, with a focus on energy-efficiency measures for multi-family residential buildings
- Conducting condition surveys and planning and cost estimation of structural measures
- Preparation of specifications (bill of quantities) and construction schedules
- Coordination of regulatory and neighborhood/community concerns
- Coordination and oversight of construction processes including schedule, cost and quality control
- Close coordination with the commercial/administrative department
- Communication with tenants, contractors and authorities
Requirements
- Degree in a technical field of construction (Civil Engineering, Architecture) or qualification as a technician / certified building technician (m/f/d)
- Several years of professional experience in planning and leading refurbishment projects for existing buildings, primarily in energy-related building renovations
- In-depth experience in preparing specifications (bill of quantities)
- Experience in the residential property sector
- Ideally experience with MS Office and knowledge of SAP
- Structured working style and strong time management skills
