Procurement Advisor developing innovative sourcing strategies for TEHORA while collaborating in a multidisciplinary team. Responsible for managing bids, supplier performance issues, and contract closures.
Responsibilities
Prepare and draft responses to tenders and requests for proposals (RFPs) for which they are responsible.
Develop innovative approaches and new sourcing strategies to grow the company's business.
Issue and write recommendations related to the management of tenders and contracts for the files under their oversight, and develop analytical tools to facilitate contract monitoring.
Prepare the closure of tenders and contracts and carry out the process in coordination with internal requestors.
Engage with suppliers, when required, to address performance issues or other recurring and/or major contractual concerns.
Participate in monitoring and benchmarking best practices in strategic procurement.
Requirements
Hold a university degree in business administration, logistics, or another relevant field.
Have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in procurement.
Holding the Supply Chain Management Professional designation (P.G.C.A.) is an asset.
Desired skills for this position include planning and organization, monitoring and control, team consultation, client orientation, active listening, initiative, conflict resolution, and time and priority management.
