Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting for individual entities and prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements
- Perform budget calculations and support the preparation of analyses and reporting
- Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements under HGB (German Commercial Code)
- Collaborate on cross-departmental projects and support the development/optimization of internal (accounting) processes
- Act as the point of contact for internal and external parties (tax advisors, auditors, banks, tax authorities, etc.)
Requirements
- Completed commercial or tax-related vocational training, or a degree with a specialization in finance and accounting
- At least initial professional experience in accounting
- Good knowledge of accounting under HGB
- Very good German language skills
- Strong analytical skills, initiative and conscientiousness
- High level of personal responsibility and entrepreneurial thinking
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
