About the role
- Legal Advisor Insurance responsible for managing insurance contracts, financial steering, and risk assessment. Role involves insurance claims processing and communication with insurers.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for insurance management, including administration, monitoring and regular updating of all company insurance contracts
- Financial management of insurance matters such as budget preparation and review of premium invoices
- Identification, assessment and ongoing monitoring of company risks
- End-to-end handling and settlement of claims, including documentation and communication with insurers
- Coordination of all relevant company information for brokers
- Participation in the development of insurance concepts and solutions
- Optimization of the existing insurance portfolio through analyses and exchange with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Completed vocational training with a focus on insurance, finance or risk management, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in corporate insurance management, with an insurer or an insurance broker is desirable
- Good MS Office skills and initial experience with SAP
- Very good organizational skills
- Responsible, structured and flexible way of working
- Strong understanding of operational risks and technical and economic interrelationships
- Excellent team and communication skills
- Assertiveness and a confident appearance
