Senior Supply Chain Supervisor managing supply chain planning and logistics activities for ZF in Gray Court, SC. Leading teams and ensuring compliance with SAP processes and quality standards while driving continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Oversee supply chain planning and logistics activities by managing EDI/MRP releases, inventory targets, supplier communication, and cross functional coordination while ensuring compliance with SAP processes, KPIs, and quality standards.
Lead planners through phase in/phase out activities, resolve material issues, and drive continuous improvement across customer logistics and plant operations.
Supervise the analyses EDI/MRP/Releases, are deployed to the supply chain weekly.
Lead and/or supervise the work of supply chain management/core team activities surrounding phase in and phase out process.
Verify hot list for critical materials, ensure all materials are addressed within the materials planning group.
Ensure the raw material’s inventory levels are within the target – plan and implement measures to reduce the inventory to the target levels.
Ensure the backlogs are traced by KPI and deviations to the plan are addressed with the planners and suppliers.
Serve as the primary liaison between the internal customers and other groups within the organization (e.g. Purchasing, Quality, Operations, etc.).
Champion a safe and productive work environment while adhering to ZF quality standards and policies.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree
8+ years of progressive experience working in customer logistics and/or related supply chain management position
2+ years of experience with SAP or other related ERP systems
Extensive experience with contracts, sourcing and in-depth knowledge of specialized methods and techniques
Familiarity with plant operational interfaces and in-depth understanding of plant supply chain processes and procedures
Proven ability to represent or lead logistics functions in cross-functional teams across all levels of personnel and management
Strong problem-solving skills, having developed and presented 8D’s and/or presentations to the customer
Ability to travel – both foreign and domestic up to 30%.
