Responsibilities
- Manage Grifols' Plasma Supply Chain Operations activities associated with the receipt, distribution, storage, and inventory control of raw plasma
- Direct the receipt, storage, and distribution of all raw plasma
- Maintain oversight of the Receiving, Warehousing, and Shipping areas
- Oversee plasma receiving and scheduling activities, plasma batch retrieval, plasma lot assembly and delivery
- Accountable for a major cold storage logistics operation
- Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and introduce proposals/plans for improvements
- Establish departmental performance objectives and metrics
- Manage and develop departmental budgets
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, business administration, engineering, or a related field
- APICS certifications such as Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience
- Project or technical leadership experience required
- Supervisory or management experience preferred
- Working knowledge of manufacturing and system processes
- Inventory controls
- Strong knowledge of cGMP's and other regulatory requirements
- Leadership and independent decision making capabilities
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to lead cross functional teams and adapt to changing priorities
