About the role
- IT Automation Engineer focused on creating efficient automation solutions with Ansible and AWX. Collaborating with clients and enhancing DevOps methodologies in a hybrid environment.
Responsibilities
- You design and implement automation solutions based on Ansible & AWX, covering everything from requirements analysis and development to production rollout.
- You support existing customers in day-to-day operations, ensure smooth automation processes, and proactively drive optimizations.
- You continuously deepen your expertise in IT automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and modern DevOps practices, and contribute your ideas directly to the further development of the solution portfolio.
Requirements
- A completed degree in a STEM field or an equivalent qualification.
- A passion for analyzing and automating complex IT environments.
- Experience with Linux/Windows, scripting languages, and containers.
- Experience with Ansible, IaC tools, Kubernetes, or cloud environments is a plus.
- Very good German skills (C1) and proficiency in English.
- You work reliably, independently, and communicate effectively — and you enjoy not only executing tasks but also thinking along and contributing ideas.
