About the role
- Cloud Infrastructure Engineer involved in Kubernetes services implementation and management for CLOUD4EUROPE project. Working with a team to develop solutions and provide support for managed Kubernetes platform.
Responsibilities
- Implementation, operation, and further development of Kubernetes services
- Support of the development and operation of the managed Kubernetes platform
- Development of custom Kubernetes Operators and REST APIs
- Conducting problem and fault analyses and developing sustainable solutions
- Participation in 24/7 on-call duty
- Full orchestration of infrastructure using GitOps on Kubernetes, based on ArgoCD and Kustomize
Requirements
- Solid IT knowledge and extensive experience with Kubernetes
- Design and operation of (Linux-based) infrastructure
- Experience with GitOps for configuration management and automation is a plus
- Experience developing complex tools (preferably in Golang)
- Cloud-native experience
- Good German and conversational English skills
