About the role
- Staff Technical Program Manager driving cross-functional initiatives within Technology Departments at WEX. Collaborating with global teams to enhance digital capabilities and optimize program execution.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for driving delivery on a key long-term, cross-functional initiative within and across Technology Departments
- Enable teams and partners to plan, de-risk, and execute critical initiatives while reporting on progress
- Collaborate closely with partners within Global Technology Services and across many Engineering teams
- Drive alignment and delivery of critical projects that underpin WEX’s digital capabilities
- Identify technical risks related to infrastructure performance, capacity, security, and compliance
- Develop mitigation strategies with technical and leadership partners
- Track program performance against the committed plan and goals
- Use data and metrics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Significant experience in technical leadership overseeing key projects at the Enterprise level
- Deep understanding of project delivery in a technical environment with commercial software as the primary deliverable
- Familiarity with identity management and authentication protocols and concepts
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile Certified Practitioner) are helpful, but not required
- Previous experience in FinTech or highly regulated environments can be helpful.
