Responsibilities
As a Safety Analysis Engineer will be responsible for performing design basis safety analysis for nuclear reactors
You will report to the Manager of Loss of Coolant Analysis
Responsible for performing design basis safety analysis for nuclear reactors, in particular for Loss of Coolant Accidents (LOCA)
Development and assessment of models and correlations for prediction of two-phase flow and heat transfer phenomena
Use of statistical techniques for performing realistic nuclear reactor safety analysis and/or development of analysis methodologies for design basis accidents
Cognizance of plant specific licensing basis, Analysis of Record, 50.46 reporting
Point of contact for plant-specific LOCA specific inquiries from both internal and external customers
Evaluate impacts of plant modifications and operating changes on design analysis
Requirements
Bachelors in one of the following Engineering Disciplines Required: Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering
Minimum 3.0 GPA required
