About the role

• (Senior) DevOps Engineer at Wavestone developing and operating complex software solutions for digitalization projects. Collaborating in teams and contributing to technology landscape advancements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate complex software solutions and architectures for digitalization projects
• Take responsibility for the design, testing, and operation of applications in cloud and DevOps environments
• Act as the technical contact for decisions and actively contribute to the further development of the technology landscape
• Work on the migration and integration of data sources and frontends
• Support the team in implementing automation and optimization processes

Requirements

• University degree (ETH, university, or university of applied sciences)
• Several years of project experience developing with Java, Spring Boot, and modern cloud technologies (e.g., CI/CD, OpenShift, Docker, ArgoCD, Tekton)
• Experience in architecting microservices, databases (relational or NoSQL), and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience on larger projects and with highly available applications, as well as in agile environments (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban)
• Familiar with agile software development, design patterns, and test automation
• Team player with strong communication skills who enjoys taking responsibility
• Business fluent in German and English
