Responsibilities
Do you want to drive the expansion, digitalization and resilience of civil transport infrastructure – rail, road and public transport (PT)?
Then help us design safe, high-performance networks for tomorrow as a (Senior) Consultant Transportation Infrastructure and Mobility (all genders) at the location of your choice (part-time possible).
You will advise operators and public clients in transport infrastructure (e.g., rail environment, motorways, state/municipal authorities) on expansion, renewal and digitalization programs for rail and road.
As Product Owner/Project Manager you will lead (sub-)projects end-to-end – from requirements and stakeholder management through schedule/cost/risk control to go-live and impact measurement – agile or traditional.
You will support procurement processes as well as planning and approval procedures.
You will establish PMO structures, reporting and quality gates for multi-project setups.
You will further develop our consulting offering for civil critical transport infrastructures (e.g., ETCS/Digital Rail, accessibility, climate adaptation/resilience) and, depending on the project, also work on the digitalization of communication and radio infrastructures (e.g., mobile networks, railway radio, public safety radio (BOS), Wi‑Fi).
Requirements
You have experience in civil transport infrastructure (rail infrastructure, road construction, public transport), data analytics and BIM — e.g., at consultancies, operators, authorities, construction or technology companies.
You have project DNA with proven successes in projects/(sub-)project control/PO/PMO – ideally in network expansion, renewal, electrification or traffic management.
Ideally you bring knowledge of mobile and radio technologies (e.g., railway radio, public safety radio (BOS), Wi‑Fi). This is not a must.
You are innovation-oriented, interested in AI in the mobility sector, possess clear communication and presentation skills and are fluent in German and English.
A completed degree rounds off your profile.
You are willing to travel within the DACH region and to work hybrid and independently.
