Responsibilities
- Help clients design and implement modern data architectures, working on strategic transformation programs and hands-on delivery.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and project groups to unlock the full potential of Databricks and drive business success.
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms.
- Build data pipelines, models, and integrations leveraging Databricks and associated technologies.
- Support data transformation and migration initiatives in the insurance and financial services sectors.
- Establish Databricks best practices, contribute to pre-sales efforts, proposals, and internal training.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on expertise in Databricks, gained through client projects or internal data initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of modern data architectures (Delta Lake, Data Mesh, MDM), data modelling, and cloud-based platforms.
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., dbt, Azure Data Factory), Python and pySpark.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) – practical project experience is a plus.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions – and vice versa.
- Fluency in German and English.
