About the role

• Business Analyst in public sector at Wavestone focusing on tax and accounting processes. Analyzing client business processes and providing sustainable solutions for future systems and workflows.

Responsibilities

• You contribute to the advancement of the public sector by analyzing, modeling and documenting our clients’ business processes — with a particular focus on tax and accounting.
• You operate at the interface between the business domain and IT, capturing business requirements in a structured way.
• You ensure these requirements are clearly documented and unambiguously recorded in project management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps for all stakeholders.
• You identify opportunities for improvement and support organizations in making their processes more efficient and transparent.
• You manage projects end-to-end, accompanying them from business planning through implementation and quality assurance.

Requirements

• Several years of practical experience in the Swiss public sector or in a consulting firm
• Solid knowledge of tax and accounting
• Experience with model-driven working methods (BPMN and UML)
• Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration or an equivalent qualification
• Certifications in classical and agile project management methods (IPMA, HERMES, SAFe, Scrum, or similar)
• Strong written and spoken German (C1)
• Preferably also able to communicate in English and French
