IT Data Engineering Intern supporting data management and analytics projects in a leading manufacturing organization. Engage in data analysis, dashboard creation, and IT collaboration.
Responsibilities
Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data from various IT systems and manufacturing platforms.
Support the development and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to provide actionable insights.
Help ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across systems and databases.
Participate in data quality audits and contribute to data governance initiatives.
Collaborate with IT and business teams to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Document data processes, workflows, and analytics methodologies.
Contribute to projects involving predictive analytics, performance metrics, and process optimization.
Requirements
Current sophomore or junior pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
Foundational knowledge of data analytics tools and concepts (e.g., SQL, Excel, Power BI, Python, or R).
Familiarity with database systems and data modeling principles as well as ETL/ELT (Informatica, Fivetran etc.), Cloud Dataware house exposure (Azure, Snowflake, AWS).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a curiosity for uncovering trends and patterns.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in presenting data-driven insights.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to learning.
Passionate about using data to improve business outcomes and drive innovation.
Demonstrated integrity, respect, and accountability in team interactions.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship now or in the future.
