About the role

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
- Implement and manage real-time data streaming using Kafka and manage databases efficiently.
- Develop and maintain secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Optimize application performance and address bottlenecks.
- Setup monitoring and alerting mechanisms for backend services health.
- Collaborate with team leads for technical insights and end-to-end solutions.
- Lead design and architecture of complex enterprise backend systems.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure high code quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
- 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
- Proficiency in Java and frameworks like Spring boot
- Experience with Azure CosmosDB, Azure Blob Storage, Azure SQL
- Implementing security and authentication mechanisms
- Performance optimization and monitoring backend services
- Familiarity with Apache Kafka for data streaming
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience supporting healthcare applications or data encryption
- Understanding of source code management using GitHub
- Navigating Linux operating system environments
- Creating CI jobs using Jenkins or similar tools
- Managing work using Jira
