Responsibilities
- Manage Senior Managers, Architects and collaborate with engineering, platform, and product teams
- Guide the organization’s technical strategy
- Ensure the robustness, scalability, and innovation of the product
- Build, scale and mentor a high-performing Engineering organization
- Develop technical leaders and cultivate a culture of operational excellence and continuous learning
- Establish clear ownership models, execution cadences, and postmortem-driven improvement practices
- Oversee the full software development lifecycle, championing DevOps practices and system health monitoring to optimize performance
- Collaborate with product teams to deliver features and solutions
- Manage engineering capacity, backlog prioritization, and cloud cost optimization
- Drive continuous improvement through innovation, risk mitigation, and effective technical decision-making
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 15+ years of software engineering experience
- 5+ years in engineering leadership roles
- Proven experience building and scaling large distributed systems (Java, Python, or similar)
- Deep knowledge of cloud-native architectures, micro-services, CI/CD, and backend testing frameworks
- Experience working with data science or ML teams to bring models into production
- Track record of delivering platforms adopted by multiple product teams at enterprise scale
- Strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and ability to drive alignment across diverse stakeholders
- Experience in retail, e-commerce, or other large-scale consumer-facing products is a plus.
