About the role
- Senior VDC Coordinator leading BIM/VDC support processes across multiple projects. Managing technical relationships with clients, design, and project teams for construction optimization.
Responsibilities
- Is the primary technical resource regarding BIM/CAD workflows over multiple projects
- Maintains effective relationships with design, project, and client teams
- Facilitates BIM process integration and BIM Execution Plan adherence
- Advanced knowledge of 3D/4D/5D BIM processes
- Fully comprehends all of the LOD BIM Specifications
- Daily use of Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam platforms
- Must know how to extract quantities from 3D models to assist estimators with cost tracking
- Must be able to assist team members with BIM/VDC related responsibilities
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience and relevant education including a bachelor’s in architecture, engineering, industrial, or combination of construction related training and experience.
- Experience with hands on application of Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam
- Must be able to work in a fast paced, collaborative, team environment and/or independently
- Proficient in Navisworks to include clash detection, reporting and managing clash resolutions
- Proficient in Autodesk ACC Software and associated workflows
- Proficient in BMS/FM processes and how they interface with model data for asset tracking
- Experienced in design and field construction processes
- Adept in construction logistic plan creation (2D or 3D) for visual process information conveyance.
- Skillful in converting 2D sketches or drawings into 3D models
- PC experience in Windows/ MS Office applications
- Skilled in web-enabled applications associated with the aforementioned software platforms
- Possess exceptional interpersonal organization and communication skills
- Takes initiative, able to be a self-starter, energetic, goal focused and quality oriented
