About the role
- Senior Network Administrator managing Data Center environments with a focus on VMware and high availability. Working for a company specializing in digital solutions for public management.
Responsibilities
- Administer a colocation Data Center environment with multiple physical and virtualized servers;
- Manage infrastructure with 20+ servers and multiple VMs, ensuring high availability;
- Operate and administer VMware environments (clustering, resource allocation, performance tuning, and troubleshooting);
- Manage load balancing solutions for distributing traffic across web servers and critical services;
- Administer corporate storage (preferably Dell EMC or other enterprise-grade solutions);
- Manage corporate firewall (FortiGate experience is a strong advantage);
- Implement and administer VPNs with granular access control and profile-based permissions;
- Ensure SLAs, availability, and continuous monitoring of environments;
- Plan and execute migrations, upgrades, and structural infrastructure improvements;
- Ensure compliance with security policies (ISO 27001, LGPD);
- Participate directly in technical operations when required (not only coordination);
- Manage contracts and strategic infrastructure vendors;
- Work on-site at the Data Center in Santana de Parnaíba when required.
Requirements
- Proven experience with medium to large-scale infrastructure;
- Hands-on experience with colocation Data Center environments;
- Strong hands-on experience with VMware (administration of virtualized environments);
- Knowledge of load balancers (configuration and operation at application/higher layers);
- Experience with corporate storage systems (Dell EMC or similar);
- Experience with corporate firewalls (FortiGate experience is a significant advantage);
- Hands-on experience with corporate VPNs and profile-based access control;
- Proficiency in Linux and Windows Server environments;
- Experience with monitoring and SLA management;
- Practical experience in information security;
- Experience leading infrastructure projects;
- Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
