About the role
- Accountant responsible for managing creditor and debtor accounting, supporting financial processes at modern decentralized bank. Requires strong educational background and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities
- Posting and recording of all ongoing business transactions in accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger
- Support with year-end closing tasks
- Account reconciliations and master data maintenance
- Preparation of VAT returns (UVA) and EC Sales List (ZM) as well as calculation of other levies and taxes
- Support in optimizing our processes
- Regular communication with internal and external contacts
Requirements
- Completed commercial education (HAK, HBLA Matura) or successfully passed bookkeeping/accounting exam
- Some relevant accounting experience is an advantage
- Confident use of common IT applications (Microsoft Office) is required
- SAP-FI knowledge is an advantage
- Solution-oriented and independent working style, resilience and a hands-on mentality
- Strong interpersonal skills and good communication ability
- Excellent German language skills and enjoyment of working with numbers
