Senior Product Manager at Vodafone leads the introduction of new TV products, collaborating with cross-functional teams. Responsible for product specifications, technical solutions, project phases, and stakeholder presentations.
Responsibilities
As Senior Product Manager (m/f/d), you create detailed specification documents to describe relevant end-customer requirements and operational processes for launching new TV products.
You analyze business requirements and develop technical solution concepts together with internal departments and external vendors.
You reconcile requirements between Product Management and the teams responsible for technical implementation to ensure clarity of requirements.
You independently manage all project phases — design, implementation, integration, and testing — through to product launch across the various departments.
You support Procurement in supplier selection and contract negotiations.
You prepare project plans that involve the customer, the participating departments, operations, and external suppliers and partners.
You conduct regular risk analyses and document them.
You are responsible for preparing all presentations of business concepts and decision papers for clients, decision-making bodies, and management levels (AL, HAL).
Requirements
Completed degree in a technical or business field (university degree) or a comparable qualification.
At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in the media or telecommunications industry, with a focus on developing new customer products or services in the entertainment domain.
Strong subject-matter expertise in entertainment products.
Extensive experience in digital video Ad Tech — ideally in TV or CTV environments, but solid know‑how from web or streaming video advertising is also welcome (e.g., ad server integration, targeting, programmatic video, VAST/VMAP, tracking technologies, or consent management).
Ability to structure and conceptualize complex thought processes.
Strong analytical mindset.
Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken (C1 CEFR).
