About the role

• Software Engineering Specialist in AI at Vivo leading architecture and high-impact development for AI solutions. Overseeing performance and mentoring teams within a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain complex, highly available architectures for APIs and services supporting Vivo's AI ecosystem.
• Lead the definition of coding and design standards (Design Patterns, Clean Architecture), serving as a reference for Senior and Mid-level developers.
• Optimize performance and cloud costs, ensuring efficient processing of large data volumes and model (LLM) calls.
• Act as a hands-on technical mentor: perform critical code reviews and pair programming sessions to elevate the team's technical level.
• Develop critical components and internal SDKs to be consumed by multiple AI squads.
• Ensure system resilience through advanced observability strategies, fault handling, and infrastructure automation.

Requirements

• Extensive backend development experience using Node.js and Nest.js.
• Deep knowledge of microservices architecture, messaging patterns, and asynchronous communication (event-driven, WebSockets, gRPC).
• Expertise with Kubernetes (AKS): resource configuration, horizontal/vertical scaling, and large-scale container management.
• Advanced Cloud Native knowledge (Azure): Event Hub, Cosmos DB, Redis, and caching strategies.
• Strong security experience: implementation of complex authentication flows (OAuth 2.0, OIDC) and data protection.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and infrastructure automation for critical production environments.
• Strong database fundamentals: query optimization, NoSQL modeling, and consistency management.
• Deep experience with LangChain, LangGraph, and autonomous agent orchestration.
• Technical knowledge in Prompt Engineering and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) to optimize LLM responses.
• Familiarity with APM and observability tools (Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana) for root-cause diagnosis in distributed systems.
