Responsibilities
Manage a defined portfolio of regional and national suppliers
Conduct independent negotiations on terms and annual review meetings with suppliers
Responsible for supplier analysis
Prepare product-group analyses and evaluate relevant KPIs
Responsible for purchasing projects within the onboarding process for new customers
Monitor market developments in the food sector to support decision-making
Continuously optimize purchasing processes and implement new procurement tools
Requirements
Degree in business administration or completed commercial vocational training with relevant further training or subject-specific additional qualifications
Several years of experience in purchasing/procurement
Experience in food purchasing is a plus
Team player with reliability and a strong sense of responsibility
Structured and methodical working style
Good negotiation and presentation skills
Confident manner and excellent communication skills
Resilience and perseverance when working independently
Strong affinity for numbers and conceptual thinking
Proficient with common MS Office applications; experience with ERP systems is a plus
