About the role

• IT-Supporter maintaining stable IT infrastructure in a hybrid role. Assisting colleagues and clients with technical issues in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• You assist your colleagues with IT issues and ensure they feel confident and comfortable in the digital environment.
• You ensure our IT infrastructure runs smoothly and is continuously optimized.
• As the first point of contact for IT-related questions, you communicate clearly and empathetically with our employees.
• You are responsible for the configuration, administration and monitoring of internal and external network and server environments (e.g. Linux, Windows, reverse proxies such as Apache, WAF solutions like ModSecurity, OWASP, and MS SQL/MySQL databases).
• You are responsible for configuring, administering and monitoring physical and virtual servers as well as SAN and firewall environments.
• You handle customer support and provide technical consulting to our clients.
• You deploy and manage cloud services for our customers.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training in the IT field or an equivalent qualification
• Initial experience in technical IT
• You are as interested in the human side of IT as you are in the technical aspects
• You enjoy working in a team and interacting directly with employees
• Very good written and spoken German
