About the role
- Sr. Manager-FP&A responsible for financial planning and analysis at Verisk's Property Estimating Solutions. Collaborating cross-functionally to enhance financial performance and decision quality.
Responsibilities
- Own the annual operating plan, quarterly forecasts, monthly performance analysis, and long‑range planning for the Claims Business.
- Build and maintain scalable driver‑based models that forecast revenue, margins, cost drivers, and product‑level performance.
- Deliver clear and concise variance analysis with actionable commentary for senior leadership.
- Serve as strategic finance partner to Product, Sales, and Operations on pricing, profitability, pipeline, and customer economics.
- Work closely with global teams in a matrixed environment to align financial insights with business outcomes.
- Support BU strategy, pricing evolution, and product expansion through financial modeling and scenario planning.
- Maintain a single source of truth for PES financial reporting and KPIs.
- Provide monthly P&L reporting and product‑level insights, highlighting key trends and opportunities.
- Manage and mentor a Financial Analyst, elevating modeling quality and business support.
Requirements
- 8+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance experience.
- Expert‑level modeling and analytics capabilities.
- Demonstrated success implementing FP&A best practices in high‑growth or transforming environments.
- Proven business partnering experience with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams.
- Experience in SaaS, analytics, or data‑driven businesses preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with planning systems (Oracle/Hyperion) desirable.
- MBA, CPA, CFA preferred.
