Responsibilities
- Venari Security is seeking a highly experienced UI/UX Designer (Contractor/Independent Consultant) to lead the design renovation of the vComply platform, a cryptographic compliance and governance SaaS solution. This project-based engagement will focus on modernizing the user experience, improving usability, and integrating data-rich analytics and dashboards to empower users with actionable insights. You will work closely with product stakeholders and engineering teams to audit the current design, propose improvements, and deliver high-fidelity design assets that elevate the platform’s visual appeal, usability, and data presentation capabilities. Scope of Work: Conduct a UX and UI audit of the current vComply platform to identify usability gaps and design inconsistencies. Design and prototype modern dashboards that present complex compliance data in intuitive, interactive, and visually compelling ways. Develop data visualization components (charts, graphs, tables, KPIs) that support decision-making and user workflows. Redesign key UI elements including navigation, forms, workflows, and reporting modules to improve clarity and efficiency. Collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure design feasibility and fidelity during implementation. Maintain and evolve the platform’s design system for consistency across modules and future updates. Incorporate user feedback and stakeholder input into iterative design improvements. Provide guidance on UX research and testing methodologies to validate design decisions and improve user engagement. Deliverables: UX Audit Report with prioritized recommendations Updated design system and component library High-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes Dashboard and analytics design specifications Annotated design documentation for developer handoff Final presentation of design renovation outcomes
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in UI/UX design for SaaS platforms, ideally in compliance, governance, or cybersecurity domains.
- Strong portfolio showcasing web and mobile design work, including dashboard and data visualization projects.
- Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, Adobe XD, and design systems.
- Solid understanding of front-end development principles to facilitate collaboration with engineers.
- Excellent communication, time management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience designing data-rich dashboards and interactive analytics interfaces.
- Knowledge of data visualization best practices and tools (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js, Tableau, etc.).
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript to support design handoff.
