About the role
- Gestionnaire contentieux managing debt collection cases for Vaudoise, a top Swiss insurance firm. Overseeing compliance, financial analysis, and improving collection processes.
Responsibilities
- Ensure full management of files from the moment they are forwarded for debt recovery
- Establish and maintain varied contacts (written and by phone) with Vaudoise branches, debt enforcement and bankruptcy offices, courts, and clients
- Analyze financial situations and grant and negotiate appropriate payment arrangements
- Monitor and process incoming payments in direct coordination with collections
- Support Vaudoise branches on all litigation and debt collection-related matters
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of monitoring and collection processes
Requirements
- Federal VET Certificate (CFC) in Commerce or equivalent
- Excellent written and spoken German and French; knowledge of Italian is an asset
- Good knowledge of the Swiss Federal Debt Collection and Bankruptcy Act, with significant experience in this field in Switzerland
- Proficient with standard IT tools (MS Office), especially Excel
- Autonomous and efficient, able to manage priorities and meet deadlines
- Rigorous and structured, well-organized with a strong professional ethic
- Curious and versatile, with a strong interest in a variety of tasks
- Committed and proactive, values teamwork and contributes to an open and constructive collaborative environment
