Responsibilities
Business Development & Go-to-Market
Preparation, execution and follow-up of meetings with potential customers, partners and other healthcare stakeholders
Support for product demos, decision-making processes and commercial alignments
Active participation throughout the entire sales process from first contact to closing and beyond
Independently drive customer and pipeline initiatives in close collaboration with the Head of Sales
Consistent follow-up of leads with a focus on closing deals
Structured collection and consolidation of market, customer and competitive feedback
Derivation of insights to further develop positioning, messaging and go-to-market approaches
Close collaboration with product, Machine Learning and Regulatory teams
Contribution to building lean, scalable business and commercial processes
Ownership of individual topics and projects with increasing responsibility
Active contribution to Vara’s commercial development during a new growth phase
Requirements
Strong academic background (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Business, Management, Economics, Engineering, Medicine or a comparable field
Initial relevant professional experience (approx. 1–4 years), e.g. in startups (Business, Operations, Growth) or B2B environments with complex/technical products
Analytical, structured way of thinking
Ability to quickly grasp complex topics and communicate them clearly
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High degree of autonomy, reliability and readiness to take responsibility
Strong interest in healthcare, AI and socially relevant issues
Entrepreneurial mindset, curiosity and willingness to learn
Very good German skills (at least C1/C2)
Very good English skills (at least B level, CEFR)
