About the role
- Sr. Network Infrastructure Architect providing enterprise-level architectural leadership at Vanguard. Responsible for shaping network infrastructure strategy in a hybrid working model.
Responsibilities
- Provides architectural leadership in shaping long-term strategic infrastructure technology programs and planning
- Leverages deep technical knowledge through subscription research services and critical resources
- Drives the design, planning, definition development of technology roadmaps
- Ensures implementation of complex solutions support architecture objectives (availability, scalability, performance, security, etc.)
- Participates in governance discussions and provides expertise to support critical decision-making
- Oversees enterprise-wide projects and initiatives
- Establishes relationships with IT leaders, architects, and technical specialists
- Drives strategic analysis of integration, compatibility, and performance targets across multi-platform environments
- Leads the development and evolution of enterprise-level infrastructure architecture frameworks
- Evaluates infrastructure design alternatives
Requirements
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience
- At least 8 years in progressively senior network infrastructure architecture roles
- Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related engineering field
- M.Tech, M.S., MBA in Technology Management, strongly preferred
- Proven experience in enterprise-scale IT transformation initiatives, architecture governance, and infrastructure modernization
- Deep expertise in architectural risk mitigation, IT policy compliance, and cross-functional stakeholder alignment
- Strong ability to influence executive leadership and steer architecture decisions at the enterprise level.
