Responsibilities
- Design, stabilize, and modernize a highly available hybrid environment for one of our strategic partners.
- Blend hands-on expertise in Cisco networking and VMware virtualization with strategic influence across cloud, security, and operations teams.
- Serve as the senior escalation point, guide infrastructure standards, and support mission‑critical warehouse and logistics technology.
- Take ownership, mentorship, and shape the future of enterprise infrastructure.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of progressive experience designing, operating, and supporting enterprise network and infrastructure environments.
- Advanced hands-on expertise with Cisco routing and switching, including complex troubleshooting in production environments.
- Extensive experience administering VMware vSphere at scale, including host, cluster, and VM lifecycle management.
- Deep knowledge of virtual networking, segmentation, and hybrid infrastructure architectures.
- Proven success supporting always-on (24x7) operational, warehouse, or logistics environments where uptime is critical.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical design efforts, resolve high-impact issues, and clearly communicate with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Industry certifications preferred - Cisco, VMWare, Security+, Etc.
- Organizational leadership qualities with a desire for growth.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, stand, walk and sit.
- A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required.
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
- Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude.
