Bilingual Virtual Retirement Education Specialist delivering retirement education and investment consultations at Vanguard. Engaging participants through strategic planning and knowledge of Vanguard’s Retail solutions.
Responsibilities
Presents investment and retirement meetings that are designed to influence and motivate retirement plan participants.
Delivers professional consultations focused on participants' needs and increasing Vanguard assets through interactions with plan sponsors and participants.
Maximizes ongoing relationships by assessing client's needs through strategic planning and consultation with relationship managers and plan sponsors.
Appropriately positions Vanguard services in participant interactions using an enhanced guidance approach and Vanguard investment methodologies.
Exhibits broad knowledge of Vanguard’s Retail solutions when addressing client needs.
Leverages participant feedback to make recommendations for future meeting content or to identify broader service and educational opportunities.
Identifies opportunities to improve existing client service models to strengthen and maintain client relationships.
Develops and maintains knowledge of Vanguard funds, products, and services.
Understands the overall Financial Services industry and related legal, tax, and regulatory issues to guide clients.
Analyzes department and industry changes and their impact on client service operations.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Minimum of two years of experience in financial services, retirement planning, or client-facing participant education role
Strong presentation and consultation skills, with the ability to deliver engaging virtual retirement education and provide needs‑based guidance
Working knowledge of retail investment products and retirement plan services, with the ability to quickly learn new products, services, and regulations
Demonstrated ability to build credibility through institutional knowledge, effective communication, and collaboration with internal partners and plan sponsors
This job requires regulatory licenses and/or registration (e.g. FINRA, state, SFC). Licenses needed: Series 7 or 6 (7 preferred) and Series 63.
Ability to travel up to 20% , as business needs require.
