About the role

• Quality Engineer developing and maintaining quality programs at IONCOR, enhancing operational performance. Ensures compliance with international quality standards while supporting cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Developing, implementing, and maintaining effective quality programs, processes, and systems to ensure consistent, sustainable, and high-quality operations.
• Identifying and mitigating process and product risks.
• Conducting quality audits and inspections.
• Investigating incidents and nonconformities to determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and customer-specific requirements, including ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
• Providing guidance, training, and support to departments on quality system topics, promoting awareness and engagement in quality initiatives.
• Coordinating project quality activities and supporting cross-functional teams.
• Preparing for internal and external audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or other relevant subject.
• Strong technical expertise in quality management systems, and knowledge of international standards including ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
• A detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive approach, with the ability to identify risks, drive improvements, and ensure compliance.
• Effective communication, teamwork, and leadership are essential to promote a positive quality culture across the organization.
• Well-organized, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
• Integrity, accountability, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement are key to success in this position.
• Knowledge of risk assessment, root cause analysis, and problem-solving tools (e.g., 8D, FMEA, 5 Whys).
• Fluency in English.
