About the role
- Shipper Analyst managing EDI integration for freight carrier payment services at U.S. Bank. Collaborating with shippers for data accuracy and compliance in financial transactions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with shippers to onboard invoices into Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) platforms, ensuring timely and accurate data exchange.
- Validate shipper data presentation against published U.S. Bank transaction standards and shipper billing guides.
- Provide guidance and support to shippers for compliance with established data formatting and transmission requirements.
- Work with multiple data formats, including ASC X12, XML, JSON, comma-delimited and fixed-length files.
- Perform data analysis and troubleshooting to resolve integration issues and maintain data integrity.
- Utilize SQL for basic data queries and validation tasks.
- Leverage ServiceNow for workflow management, issue tracking, and documentation.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to improve onboarding processes and enhance system efficiency.
- Ensure data processing continuity and system health by participating in the on-call rotation for production support and code deployments.
Requirements
- 10 or more years of direct experience with project management responsibilities.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Strong knowledge of data formats, e.g., ASC X12, XML, JSON, CSV and fixed-length files.
- Basic proficiency in SQL for data validation and reporting.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar IT service management tools.
- Use of EDI software analysis tools such as EDISIM analyzer.
- Experience with AXWAY B2B and API management software.
- Use of text editing tools such as Ultra Edit.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
