About the role
- Operations Excellence Intern supporting strategic initiatives at Upvest, a FinTech innovating investment solutions. Driving workflows and operational readiness as part of a diverse team.
Responsibilities
- Drive strategic initiatives to optimize workflows, enhance efficiency, and ensure operational readiness.
- Oversee daily operations, leverage data to implement impactful improvements, and collaborate across teams to support seamless product launches.
- Take full ownership of strategic initiatives to streamline and enhance operational processes, aligning them with company objectives and growth strategies.
- Support close collaboration with other teams to ensure operational readiness and the seamless integration of new tools and product launches, whether driven by upstream or downstream initiatives.
- Utilize data-driven analysis to identify inefficiencies, workload challenges, and cost drivers, implementing impactful solutions to improve performance.
- Develop cross-functional training initiatives to foster a culture of continuous improvement to ensure team agility and adaptability to evolving business needs.
Requirements
- (Ongoing) Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration or STEM
- Strong interest in fintech, investment infrastructure and start-ups in general
- Experience with process automation, incl. Artificial Intelligence applications is a plus
- Strong data analysis skills, ideally using Python & SQL, with a proactive, self-driven approach to problem-solving
- Strong investigative and analytical abilities, with keen attention to detail and error identification
- Excellent communication skills, incl. the ability to foster cross functional collaboration
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); German proficiency is an advantage.
