About the role

  • Technical Account Manager working with clients to integrate solutions into Uphold's financial services platform. Key responsibilities include architecture recommendations, integration guidance, and maintaining technical documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively mitigate technical blockers and provide partner insights to Product and Engineering teams to improve the platform.
  • Guide partners through scalable integration patterns, prioritizing standard platform features over custom development.
  • Drive well-defined integration frameworks and maintain meticulous technical documentation and timelines.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Product teams to translate commercial goals into sound, scalable technical solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on Uphold’s APIs and SDKs for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Build high-impact prototypes and educational resources (guides, diagrams) to accelerate partner implementations.

Requirements

  • BS or advanced degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering or Solutions Architecture, with a proven track record of designing scalable systems.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, SDKs and the OpenAPI specification.
  • Proficiency in at least one major backend language (Node.js, Go or Java).
  • Experience in designing and documenting scalable technical solutions for external partners.
  • Ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with sales, product, and engineering stakeholders.
  • A customer-centric approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Positive, proactive attitude — resilient under pressure and solution-oriented in the face of ambiguity.
  • Advanced understanding of business analysis techniques and how to apply them to partner-facing solutions.
  • Fluent written and oral English skills.
