Responsibilities
Proactively mitigate technical blockers and provide partner insights to Product and Engineering teams to improve the platform.
Guide partners through scalable integration patterns, prioritizing standard platform features over custom development.
Drive well-defined integration frameworks and maintain meticulous technical documentation and timelines.
Collaborate with Sales and Product teams to translate commercial goals into sound, scalable technical solutions.
Serve as a trusted advisor on Uphold’s APIs and SDKs for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Build high-impact prototypes and educational resources (guides, diagrams) to accelerate partner implementations.
Requirements
BS or advanced degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
4+ years of experience in Software Engineering or Solutions Architecture, with a proven track record of designing scalable systems.
Strong understanding of REST APIs, SDKs and the OpenAPI specification.
Proficiency in at least one major backend language (Node.js, Go or Java).
Experience in designing and documenting scalable technical solutions for external partners.
Ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with sales, product, and engineering stakeholders.
A customer-centric approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Positive, proactive attitude — resilient under pressure and solution-oriented in the face of ambiguity.
Advanced understanding of business analysis techniques and how to apply them to partner-facing solutions.
Fluent written and oral English skills.
