Responsibilities

• Automation of IT processes: You develop and implement scripts—primarily using PowerShell—to automate tasks and processes in systems administration.
• Platform management: You manage and optimize our IT infrastructures, including servers, cloud platforms, networks and applications.
• Deployments: You support the automation of our deployment processes and develop Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines to accelerate rollouts and improve quality.
• You implement and monitor automated security and compliance policies to support our security team.
• Tool development: You create tools and scripts that simplify or eliminate manual procedures.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in operations and/or systems engineering
• Solid technical expertise in the Microsoft product ecosystem—especially Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure Cloud, and in the data center environment (hypervisor, storage, networking, firewall, monitoring)
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting
• Ideally, experience with additional automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform or comparable solutions
• Holistic understanding of systems and their interdependencies—even beyond your immediate area of expertise
• Analytical thinking and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems quickly and effectively
• Enthusiasm for innovation, automation and digital transformation
• Confident communication skills in German and English—both written and spoken
