About the role
- Geospatial Intelligence Analyst providing geospatial analysis for operations in Reston, VA. Supporting intelligence operations through comprehensive assessments and collaboration with intelligence community.
Responsibilities
- Conduct geospatial analysis of objects, networks, and persons
- Exploit imagery, vector, and other data types to locate, identify, and map objects
- Provide analysis on terrain mapping, route planning, and maritime geospatial activity
- Produce comprehensive all-source intelligence assessments
- Maintain analytical interaction with other members of the intelligence community
- Develop collections requirements to address gaps in reporting
- Conduct and participate in briefings and seminars
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category, with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years
- Bachelor's degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
- Additional 8 years of experience in the specific labor category may substitute for a Bachelor's degree
- Conduct geospatial analysis of objects, networks, and persons using geospatial tools
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of systems, procedures, and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting, and disseminating intelligence data
